Part of what I do as a psychic is help guide my client’s direction when they have to make a decision about something, or someone. Sometimes these choices are big ones, and it’s always a little daunting when you are figuratively at the fork in the road and, looking right and left, trying to determine the best course of action for you. When you take on the decision-making process yourself, and are a little overwhelmed, here are a few things that you can do to help inspire the right direction. Your Spiritual GPS System This is your gut instinct, where messages resonate in your solar plexus. God/Goddess/All that is will communicate with us through our emotions, and those manifest in your “gut instinct”. Deepak Chopra, one of the most prominent figures in spiritual development and alternative medicine makes it easy by using a “yummy” and “yucky” descriptor for our solar plexus. If you ponder a decision and get any “yucky”, or ominous, anxious, negative reaction from your solar plexus, its best to proceed down that path with caution. At the same time, when you feel yummy, light hearted, about a prospective choice, you can be confident that it’s the right thing to do. Meditate It has increasingly been accepted that meditation has a myriad of benefits physically and emotionally. Being able to meditate on a decision, metering your thoughts, and stilling your mind can help enlighten you to the path you should take. The big misconception about meditation is that it is difficult, or process heavy; nothing could be further from the truth. Often 5 to 10 minutes of concentrating on your breathing and letting the thoughts that pop up pass by is plenty to get in a meditative state. Taking stock of your gut feeling, and then meditating on a decision to receive inspiration are two very effective ways to receive messages from the spirit world.
